Context
WEkEO is the Copernicus Data and Information Access Service (DIAS) providing a single federated access point to Copernicus data, along with cloud-based processing resources and tools. Some features can be explored without signing in, but a WEkEO account unlocks the full platform: data download, processing, storage and a personal dashboard.
Good news: the account is free, and it opens the full set of WEkEO services on top of the 600+ Copernicus datasets of the Catalogue. 😄

Features available without an account
A few features are open to everyone, no sign-in required:
Browse the WEkEO Catalogue to explore the available datasets.
Visualize data on a map in the Data Viewer.
Discover tutorial notebooks in the Jupyter Catalogue.
Contact the WEkEO User Support through the chat.
💡 WEkEO Pro Tip: even though you can contact the User Support without an account, we strongly recommend logging in first. This way, your conversation history is saved and you won't lose your conversation.
Features unlocked with a free account
With your free account, you get everything above, plus:
Download data, directly from the Expert Data Viewer or programmatically with the Harmonized Data Access (HDA) API. See How to download data through WEkEO?
Run notebooks and scripts in the free WEkEO JupyterHub, with up to 20 GB of storage in your home directory.
Store and share your work with the WEkEO Drive, by sharing folders or files through a link.
Get direct access to EODATA (see How to get direct access to EODATA?).
Keep your User Support conversations: your history is saved and you can come back to it anytime (see WEkEO User Support perimeter and How to report an issue?).
Save your favourites: favourite datasets and viewer presets are gathered in your MyWEkEO dashboard (see next section).
Discover MyWEkEO, your personal dashboard
Once you are logged in, MyWEkEO is your starting point: a dashboard gathering, in one page, all the services available with your account, plus your favourite items.
