How to upgrade plan?

Let's see in this article how you can upgrade your plan on WEkEO according to your needs.

Context


The WEkEO DIAS provides Copernicus and Sentinel data for free and also more advanced resources for premium users. As explained in the article Registration and offer plans, there are 3 types of plan allowing users to better suit their needs:

  • Default account (Free)

  • Virtual Machines (Paid)

  • HPC Solutions (Paid)

Don't hesitate to sign up to a WEkEO account for free!

In this article, you will learn how to upgrade your free account into the Virtual Machines or HPC Solutions plan πŸ’ͺ

πŸ“Œ Note: if you intend to participate in a hackathon organized by WEkEO, you'll be able to fill in a form a few days ahead, in order to get access to virtual machines during the hackathon.

Upgrade into Virtual Machines (Paid) plan


Here are the few steps to subscribe to the Virtual Machines (Paid) plan:

  1. Go to the Scaling Up Data Access page.

  2. Click on Discover Processing Infrastructure, or simply scroll down to the bottom of the page:

  3. Explore the available plans, including the Virtual Machines plan. You can view the VM price list by clicking the corresponding button:
    ​

  4. Contact wekeo-sales@thalesaleniaspace.com and indicate your exhaustive needs.

The WEkEO Support will then contact you back:

  • When your plan has been activated: you will get further information about how to manage your tenant and how to launch your first instance (virtual machine)

  • If more information is required in order to activate your plan

Upgrade to HPC Solutions (Paid) plan


In order to upgrade to the HPC Solutions (Paid) plan and benefit from all the advantages it offers, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Scaling Up Data Access page.

  2. Click on Discover Processing Infrastructure, or simply scroll down to the bottom of the page:

  3. Explore the available plans, including the HPC Solutions plan. You can view the EODC offering by clicking the corresponding button:

  4. Click on Request information to request a plan. You will be asked to fill in a form:

The WEkEO Elasticity Support will then contact you back to inform you that your plan has been activated, or to ask additional information.
