How to upgrade plan?

Let's see in this article how you can upgrade your plan on WEkEO according to your needs.

Context


The WEkEO DIAS provides Copernicus and Sentinel data for free and also more advanced resources for premium users. As explained in the article Registration and offer plans, there are 3 types of plan allowing users to better suit their needs:

  • Essential (always free)

  • Standard Virtual Machines (Paid)

  • High Performance Virtual Machines (Paid)

The Essential plan is applied by default for each new account on WEkEO (you can sign up here). In this article, you will learn how to upgrade your plan into the Standard Virtual Machines or High Performance Virtual Machines.

πŸ“Œ Note: if you intend to participate in a hackathon organized by WEkEO, we invite you to upgrade to an Standard Virtual Machines plan by indicating in the form this is for the hackathon.

Upgrade into Standard Virtual Machines plan (Paid)


Here are the few steps to subscribe to the Standard Virtual Machines plan:

  1. Sign in and click on your Profile.

  2. In your Profile, click on Upgrade:

  3. Access the pricing list of the Standard Virtual Machines plan:

  4. Contact us via our contact webpage and indicate your exhaustive needs.

The WEkEO Support will then contact you back:

  • When your plan has been activated: you will get further information about how to manage your tenant and how to launch your first instance (virtual machine)

  • If more information is required in order to activate your plan

Upgrade to High Performance Virtual Machines (Paid)


In order to upgrade to the High Performance Virtual Machines plan and benefit from all the advantages it offers, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to our Computing page.

  2. In the High Performance Virtual Machines window, click on Get more information.

  3. Click on Request information to request a plan. You will be asked to fill in a form.

The WEkEO Elasticity Support will then contact you back to inform you that your plan has been activated, or to ask additional information.
