We propose here some formulations to cite all data and information on Copernicus Sentinel services within WEKEO!

Context


The WEkEO Catalogue includes around 300 Earth observation products, all easily accessible via the dedicated Data Viewer and the dedicated download services.

While Copernicus data and information are made available on a full, free and open basis, attribution/citation is required.

Please consult and familiarize yourself with the Legal Notice on the use of Copernicus Sentinel Data and Service Information, ensuring that you have understood how and for what purposes Sentinel Data and Service Information may be used and taking note of the European Union's limited liability.

Citation of WEkEO products


If you plan to redistribute a WEKEO product, have developed a product or service based on it, or are preparing a publication (scientific, commercial, etc.), you must refer to the product's license.

To find the license:

  • Locate the product you are using in the WEkEO Viewer.

  • Add the dataset to the map

  • Click on the subset and download button.

  • At the bottom, you will find a link to the product's license or data policy.
