The WEkEO DIAS provides direct, up-to-date and unreplicated access to Earth observation data from the Copernicus portfolio and the Sentinel satellites; data that are constantly updated, both daily and by scheduled releases.
Vegetation Phenology and Productivity, yearly products are part of the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) and characterize the vegetation growth cycle, up to 2 seasons, from January 2017 to December 2021.
Of course, more recent HR-VPP data will be available soon, as indicated in the following timetable:
Variables | Time request | Delivery time |
| year 2021 | October 2022 (Uploaded) |
| year 2022 | Q2-Q3 2023 |
| year 2022 | Q2-Q3 2023 |
Where:
VI
is for Vegetation Index, providing for every pixel the status of the vegetation vigourST
is for Seasonal Trajectory, providing the vegetation status for each pixel for each 10 days in the calendar yearVPP
is for Vegetation Phenology and Productivity parameters, derived from the STs of the plant phenology index (PPI), on a yearly basis, at the end of the growing season
π Note: To learn more about these parameters, the official product's documentation is available here.
New Dataset ID (following October 2022 release)
With the release of the 2021 data in October 2022, some modifications have been made:
A new version of the HRVPP adapter has been deployed the 2022-10-20 on WEkEO
As decided by EEA, the
datasetID
s for the three datasets have changed, and two new datasets have been added:
